Starting summer 2025, Glacier Hikes and Bikes is proud to offer ultralight backpacking gear rentals, perfect for those looking to explore the backcountry with high-quality equipment and zero hassle.
Ultralight, Trail-Tested Gear
Our rental kits are designed for comfort, performance, and efficiency—with a base weight of just 13.5 lbs (excluding food, water, and personal items). That means you’ll move faster and farther without being weighed down.
Each setup includes:
🎒 Osprey Exos 58L backpack – breathable, supportive, and built for distance
🛏 Therm-a-Rest sleeping pad – compact comfort for restful nights
🔥 Jetboil stove – fast, reliable backcountry cooking
💤 Klymit sleeping bag – ultralight warmth for mountain conditions
⛺ Outdoor Vitals tent – durable, easy to pitch, and weather-ready
🐻 Bear spray – available to rent for peace of mind in bear country
This is the same gear we use on our own overnight trips—it’s high-quality, trusted, and field-tested in the Montana backcountry.
