Where to Ride

near Glacier

Northwest Montana has gravel for every mood. A few of our most-recommended rides from the storefront:

North Fork Road

to Polebridge

(30 min drive to put-in)

The classic. 30 miles of gravel along the North Fork Flathead River through wilderness to the Polebridge Mercantile. Stop for a famous huckleberry bear claw, ride back. Full-day adventure, mostly flat with rolling sections.

Camas Road into

Glacier National Park

(35 min drive)

Paved with a shoulder for the first stretch, then gravel options off the main road. Wildlife is real here: bear spray recommended.

Whitefish Trail

(paved + gravel mix)

(20 min drive)

Mellower option. Good for an afternoon ride after a morning hike.

Hungry Horse

Reservoir Loop

(20 min drive)

100+ mile gravel loop around one of the largest reservoirs in the West. Pick a section: full loop is a multi-day epic, but you can do beautiful 20-40 mile out-and-backs from the dam.

Flathead National Forest

(start from town)

Endless options. We'll mark up your map at pickup based on conditions, time available, and how much climbing you want.

What you Need To Know Before you Ride

Helmet required. Provided with every rental. Not optional.

Wildlife is real. Carry bear spray, especially on the North Fork Road and any Forest Service backcountry. We can recommend where to rent or buy it locally.

Cell service is limited off the main highways. Download offline maps before you ride.

Weather changes fast. Even bluebird mornings can become afternoon thunderstorms in summer. Pack a packable shell.

Forest fires can close roads suddenly in late summer. We'll let you know about active closures at pickup.

You break it, you bought it. Our bikes are tough, and we don't charge for normal wear. Major damage from neglect is on you.
