The shuttle van on a mountain road

Glacier National Park Shuttles

Bike shuttles to Going-to-the-Sun Road and hiking shuttles to Many Glacier and Two Medicine, from Columbia Falls.

Three shuttles, all from our shop at 7309 Hwy 2 E in Columbia Falls. The bike shuttle leaves at 11:00 am and drops you at the Avalanche Lake trailhead to ride Going-to-the-Sun Road; reserve your e-bike separately. The Many Glacier and Two Medicine shuttles are full-day round trips to the trailheads, so you hike without the parking scramble and the valley closures.

If you want to ride, take the bike shuttle. If you want Grinnell Glacier, Iceberg Lake or Ptarmigan Tunnel, take Many Glacier. If you want a quieter corner of the park with a lake and a short waterfall walk, take Two Medicine. Each one is request-to-book until the summer calendar opens: send your dates and group size and we confirm by email.

The Park Shuttles, for Comparison

In 2026 the park ran a ticketed Logan Pass shuttle from July 1 to September 7, from the Apgar Visitor Center, Lake McDonald Lodge, the St. Mary Visitor Center and Rising Sun, with a $1 ticket from Recreation.gov for each rider over 2. It stops only at The Loop and Logan Pass, and some of its buses carry bike racks. There was no park hiker-biker shuttle in 2026 for the spring car-free weeks. The park runs no shuttle to Many Glacier or Two Medicine from the west side.

Our shuttles start in Columbia Falls, outside the park, so you skip the entrance-station line and the full lots at Apgar and Logan Pass, and you keep your own schedule at the trailhead. The park pass is not included on any of them.

Good to Know

Where do the shuttles leave from?
Our shop at 7309 Hwy 2 E in Columbia Falls. The bike shuttle leaves at 11:00 am. For the Many Glacier and Two Medicine shuttles we confirm the morning pickup time by email when you book.
Is the park pass included?
No. Bring your own Glacier National Park pass or buy one at the entrance. The park charges an entry fee for bicycles too.
How many people do the hiking shuttles need?
A minimum of 4 people booked runs the Many Glacier and Two Medicine shuttles. A private van carries up to 14.
When do the hiking shuttles run?
In past seasons, July 1 to September 30. Send your 2027 dates and we confirm what is running.
Is a bike included with the bike shuttle?
No. Reserve an e-bike rental separately or bring your own bike. The shuttle carries you and the bike to the Avalanche Lake trailhead and back.
What if I am late for the return?
Other guests share the shuttle, so everyone needs to be on time. A delay carries a fee and can mean a long wait for the next return.
Why not drive ourselves?
Parking at Avalanche, Logan Pass and Many Glacier fills early on summer mornings, and rangers close the Many Glacier valley to incoming cars when it backs up. The shuttle puts you at the trailhead with the day ahead of you.
