Glacier National Park Tours

There’s no place quite like Glacier National Park. Towering mountains, turquoise lakes, glacial valleys, and endless trails—this place has a way of leaving people speechless. At Glacier Hikes & Bikes, we believe the best way to experience it all is to slow down, get outside, and take it in on your own two wheels (or two feet). That’s why we offer e-bike tours on Going-to-the-Sun Road and shuttles to some of the most iconic areas in the park, including Many Glacier.

E-Bike Tours on Going-to-the-Sun Road

If you’re visiting in May or early June, biking Going-to-the-Sun Road is a must. This is the sweet spot—before the road opens to cars, but after most of the snow has melted. It's quiet, wild, and full of life. Waterfalls pour down the cliffs, mountain goats hang out on the slopes, and the sound of rushing water from McDonald Creek follows you as you ride.

Our e-bike tours in Glacier National Park start at Lake McDonald Lodge and make their way up to The Loop. It's up to a 32-mile round trip, depending on conditions and group pace. Most folks complete the ride in about four hours. The e-bikes make the uphill climb fun and manageable, and we always make time to stop for photos, take breaks, and soak in the views. Even on sunny days, it can still be chilly—especially along the creek—so we always remind guests to bring layers, a jacket, and gloves.

This isn’t a race. It’s a way to connect with the park in a quiet, intimate way. And when you're cruising back down the road with nothing but peaks, waterfalls, and open road ahead of you, you'll understand why people say this is one of the best bike rides in the country.

Shuttle to Many Glacier – A True Wilderness Adventure

While the west side of Glacier gets most of the attention, Many Glacier is one of those places that feels like a hidden world. It’s remote, rugged, and packed with stunning hikes like Grinnell Glacier and Iceberg Lake. But getting there can be tricky—especially with limited parking and long drives.

That’s why we also offer a shuttle from Whitefish to Many Glacier. We’ll pick you up in the morning, drop you off at Many Glacier Lodge, and give you about 5 hours to explore, hike, or just relax in one of the most scenic valleys in the park. Then we’ll bring you back to Whitefish in time for dinner. It’s a stress-free way to see the east side of the park without worrying about road conditions, parking, or permits.

We also offer similar trips to Two Medicine, another lesser-known gem filled with big views and quieter trails.
