A round-trip ride from Columbia Falls to the Many Glacier trailheads in Glacier National Park, for hikers who want Grinnell Glacier, Iceberg Lake or Ptarmigan Tunnel without the parking scramble.

Many Glacier is fully open, but parking fills early on summer mornings and rangers temporarily close the valley to incoming cars when it backs up. Our shuttle skips all of that. You get picked up at our shop in Columbia Falls and dropped right at the trail for Grinnell Glacier, Grinnell Lake, Iceberg Lake and Ptarmigan Tunnel, so the parking and the drive are handled.

The Hikes

Grinnell Glacier is the classic, with the glacier and its turquoise lake at the end. Grinnell Lake is the shorter, gentler option. Iceberg Lake and Ptarmigan Tunnel are the long days for strong hikers. Up to 6 hours at the trailhead leaves room for the big ones; your driver can talk through the choices on the way in.

Why Book the Shuttle

Avoid limited vehicle access with no stress about parking or road closures, explore Glacier’s best hikes, enjoy comfortable round-trip transportation on the scenic 2.5-hour drive each way, and get a full day in Many Glacier.

Other Ways In

The Two Medicine shuttle reaches a quieter corner of the park. For a guided day on the east side with short walks and lunch, see the East Glacier scenic tour.

“We had the best day with Patrick in the Many Glacier area. He was fun, knowledgeable and used his animal spirits to call a moose onto our path. Loved it! Highly recommend this service especially during the construction. Patrick and Glacier Hikes & Bikes made our lives easier and we were able to see everything we wanted to see.”

“We did the Many Glacier shuttle which is skipping the park shuttle and getting a ride to the lodge for access to any many glacier trail you want. Super convenient and worth spending the extra money to get access to a part of the park that is hard to access. Brandon was super nice and knowledgeable highly recommend.”
