Step into the heart of Montana’s wild backcountry on a fully guided 3-day, 2-night backpacking trip, led by a professional guide with deep knowledge of the land and a knack for storytelling.

You immerse yourself in rugged landscapes, remote trails and the true call of the wild. This is an opportunity to disconnect from the noise and reconnect with nature in its purest form.

Where We Go

The Flathead National Forest, the wild country bordering Glacier National Park, is prime habitat for wildlife: you might come face to face with a moose, track mountain goats, or catch a glimpse of grizzly bears and wolves from afar. Hidden waterfalls, camps under a blanket of stars, and the true meaning of getting away from it all. Your guide picks the route for the season, the conditions and your group.

What We Carry for You

The trip includes a lightweight tent, a 50 to 70 liter backpack, sleeping bag, pad and pillow, a headlamp, bear safety and first aid equipment, a water filtration system, cooking equipment, and two calorie-dense meals a day, breakfast and dinner. A packraft is available on request for an alpine lake float. See the full included and bring lists below.

Your Guide

Our team prioritizes your safety and comfort above all else. With several years of real mountaineering and hiking experience, your guide knows what to expect, what to avoid, and how to handle unexpected situations. One of our trips was written up by the Daily Inter Lake: MT Life: a trip to nowhere.
